Each 25lb bag of Speckled Buff is $23.10. All clay sold at MVPS also includes a $30 flat rate glaze and firing fee.

Low in sand and grog content, speckled buff is smooth textured. An excellent throwing body. The color palette is perhaps best described as 'desert' or 'Southwest'. Fired in oxidation, Speckled Buff falls into the tan/brown color range.

Wet Color: Red Brown
Firing Color: Buff w/ Specks
Texture: Slightly Coarse
Avg. Shrinkage 2±%: 12%
Avg. Water Absorption 1±%: 3%

MVPS does not have enough space to stock clay for sale to the public so all clay for sale is reserved for students and members of the studio only.
